Andrew is director of finance on the board of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the trust’s executive lead for statutory performance and contracting information.
Trained as a radiographer at Pinderfields and Pontefract Hospital, Andrew worked in that clinical field for two years at St Luke’s Hospital in Bradford. He then developed his skills by moving on to financial and IT related projects, helping the district general hospital prepare for becoming a trust.
Andrew is passionate about the ways that telemedicine can enable new ways of working, and help to address financial challenges. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, with nearly 20 years of financial management experience.
Bridget is chief executive of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and a keen ambassador for its telemedicine work.
She joined the trust as director of nursing in 2005, focusing on embedding patient quality and safety systems across the organisation. She was then appointed chief operating officer/chief nurse prior to taking on the chief executive role in 2010. Her challenge now is to lead a whole system redesign of the hospital to meet future challenges, whilst ensuring the continued delivery of high quality and sustainable healthcare.
Prior to her role as chief executive at Airedale, Bridget has held senior management roles in other NHS trusts, where she has been responsible for acute health services and professional nursing services.
Dewi is the chairman of Involve, a Martin Dawes company. He has helped oversee its growth and development into a business with global reach, and one that is the UK’s leading visual collaboration solutions business.
He joined the group in 1987 as finance director of Martin Dawes Telecommunications, before becoming managing director at Martin Dawes Systems, a supplier of billing and analytics software to some of the largest telecommunications operators in the world.
Having witnessed the metamorphosis of video conferencing into visual collaboration, Dewi sees Involve’s role as helping organisations to gain full advantage from the adoption of the latest visual collaboration tools.
The managing director of Involve, Rob has held senior roles with the Martin Dawes group for over 25 years.
By continually managing the developing business operations, product and service offerings throughout this period of frenetic changes in technology, he has enabled it to deliver innovative visual collaboration solutions on a global scale. Involve now works closely with businesses in multiple industry sectors, improving their business processes and performance through the adoption and use of these capabilities.
Phil Parkinson is the Managing Director for Immedicare. Phil has over 20 years’ experience of providing Managed Services into the public sector and commercial enterprises.
Phil’s role is to grow the business and to help ensure the service run by the two partners in the Joint Venture (Involve and Airedale) operate efficiently, avoid duplication and develop the value of services to all our customers. Phil is responsible for all operations from sales through to delivery including support for customers.
