At Immedicare we’ve been pioneering the use of telemedicine since 2006, so when we advise our customers, you can be sure that we know our subject.

Our experience includes working to assist other NHS organisations. For instance, in 2011 we worked with NHS Barnsley, South West Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Hull, in developing the UK’s largest telehealth stroke network.

Dedicated Digital Health Hub

The focal point of our Immedicare service is a dedicated digital health hub facility located at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. This is staffed by experienced nurses and clinicians, covering a full range of specialties.

The Benefits of Immedicare’s Service Experience

Immedicare’s telemedicine service experience and resources mean we can help you achieve a variety of objectives, such as:

  • Avoid inappropriate admissions;
  • Provide early supported discharge;
  • Increase the levels and quality of patient care;
  • Provide remote scheduled outpatients appointments;
  • Control and reduce operating costs;
  • Address staffing shortages;
  • Serve rural patients more effectively;
  • Facilitate ongoing medical education and training;

Care Settings

Our services are deployed in a variety of settings, delivering clinical care to patients in their own homes, nursing homes, GP surgeries, care homes and hospices, and in prisons.

Immedicare is particularly valuable for patients with long-term conditions, who often experience multiple hospital admissions each year, and are subject to regular routine outpatient appointments and follow up reviews.

“Telemedicine has allowed us at HMP Isle of Wight to improve provision of care that was not previously deliverable. It has also improved access to services, improved professional education and information, and significantly reduced health-care / escort costs.”

“We selected Immedicare as we feel that the overall solution it provides meets all our required specifications for stroke care, and ultimately delivers a robust and resilient platform that will be able to deliver Telemedicine care within the region: not only for the life of this contract, but for years to come. Immedicare also has a long history and is experienced in delivering secure video collaboration solutions across private networks, and understands the challenges that come with working with sensitive information within the NHS.”
